Sun Filtered Water

Some great guys in Sweden have developed a solar powered water filtering device to help provide clean water to third world countries. These folks go by the name of Solvatten, which is "sun water" in Swedish.

Their solar device filters & heats up dirty water to kill all the bacteria within the water. The process takes about 5 hours, but in some countries that time is little to pay to receive drinkable water.

Another solar product helping the world.

Happy New Year!

Solar Arcadia wishes everyone a Happy New Years!

Start this new year right, here are three "Green" New Years Resolution ideas:

1. Plant a tree! Plant one in your backyard or even your community park. You can also buy a service that plants a tree for you in the American Forests.

2. Use re-usable grocery bags. Stop using plastic bags from the grocery store and buy an eco-friendly shopping bag instead.

3. Purchase Solar Arcadia products and help make a difference. (All products sold on Solar Arcadia have 2% that is given back to renewable energy research)

The bottom line is...

Have a Great New Years and try to do something "Green" this year.
